May Letter from the Principal

Dear Parents,

The days seem to go by faster as we approach the end of our school year. I am thankful that God has allowed me the privilege of serving Him at Christ the King Catholic School for another year. I appreciate all the support and love you have given me.

May Crowning

  • Please join us for the Grotto Dedication, May Procession and Crowning of Mary on May 1 at 8:00 a.m. We will begin with the Grotto Dedication and then begin the procession with the eighth grade students carrying the statue of Mary around the block while praying the Rosary. One of the two youngest second grade students will place the crown of flowers on the statue of Mary in the Grotto and another crown on Mary that will go in the church.  We will conclude with Benediction. The second grade students will wear their First Holy Communion clothes. All other children will be dressed in uniform for this special occasion.

Eighth Grade Final School Mass

  • We will celebrate our final Mass with our eighth grade students on May 25. This Mass will be offered for their intentions. After mass we will distribute the following awards: Presidential, Citizenship and the Ideal Graduates. We invite parents to pray with us that morning.

Graduation Mass

  • Everyone is invited to this very special Mass on May 30 at 7:00 p.m. Seventh grade students and parents will provide a reception in the Parish Hall afterwards. I want to extend a sincere word of gratitude to our priests, teachers and parents who are making preparations for this special event. We wish our graduates God's special blessing as they leave us and enter the next phase of their educational journey.

  • April - Thank you for your generous support in sending baby items for our April outreach. All of these items have been delivered to "To Be" in Fairhope and are much appreciated.
